We are so proud to announce the new addition to our lawn care family, Doug Glenn! Doug is wonderful and will be spraying your lawn in addition to Ashton. We have been looking for the perfect fit to add to the Ashton Walden Turf Services family and Doug has exceeded our expectations. Ashton has been working with him over the past few months teaching him all about our West Texas Turf and how to improve and maintain a beautiful lawn.

Doug is a native West Texas guy ,being raised in Plainview Texas. His wife, Krystyl and their 3 precious boys, came to Lubbock this past year to be a little closer to their wonderful family. Along with Ashton, Doug will be out taking care of your turf care needs. We are so thrilled to have him and know you will love him too!

Spring is coming

Spring is around the corner! We are in the process of finishing up our first application and Ashton has been working around the clock to make sure to get to everyone as quick as possible. We love getting new customers and hearing from our long term customers.

End of the Summer

I cannot believe Summer 2012 is over and we have SURVIVED the water restrictions! Please remember to continue to apply your 1.5 to 2 inches of water a week. Cycle watering (setting sprinklers to run back to back) is the best method for effective watering. Think about getting a 5 minute rain vs. a 30- 45 minute steady rain (I know those are hard to come by around here). The root system is able to soak up the water. Now you are able to get your 1.5 - 2 inches 2 days a week, instead of once a week.

Fall is the perfect time to over seed your Fescue lawn or over seed heavily shaded Bermuda areas. Here is the before and after of one of our customers lawns from last year.

Now this was a SEVERE case of not enough sunlight for Bermuda to grow. The lawn was pretty much gone! (Excuse the large white bucket in the middle of the picture)!

 

After:

WOW! Now, he is a wonderful customer and watered like he was suppose to and has stayed on our lawn care program for many years, but anyone can have results like this.

Ashton Walden Turf Services is proud to announce that our Customer Assistant Website is officially up and running. We wanted to make it easier on our customers to use the web when checking on services, paying their bill and requesting quotes on other services. It takes 2 minutes to set up your account See below for instructions!

First you go to our website: www. ashtonwalden.com and click on the tab in the right hand corner that says "My Account"

You should come to this window and you will need to register. Click on the New User's Link and you will need your customer number handy.

Log In Screen

Once you have clicked on the New Users Screen, you should come to the Register screen:

Once you have entered your information you will need to set up a password that only you will know. Lastly enter the Captcha (the data in the brown box) and it will take you to your personal screen!

Viola!!!You can access your information 24 hours a day 7 days a week!

Spring is Here!

Spring is here and getting our lawns in shape is at the top of our minds. Ashton Walden Turf Services has started our 2nd application. This application includes several beneficial products that your lawn needs to get a jump start to the Spring and Summer. If you are interested in our lawn care program, send us an email or call the office and we would be happy to go over our services. Remember we have a great referral program for our customers. Ashton and I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, full of Food, Fun, Family, Football and much more!! As we reflect on the things we are thankful for in our lives, the first thing that comes to mind is our wonderful customers!
